The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan
The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan is a central executive body with a law-enforcement status realizing state policy and regulation in an area of justice according to legislatively determined activities.
The Ministry is guided by the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan, decrees and orders of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, decisions and resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, international agreements adhered by the Republic of Azerbaijan and this Statute.
In order to execute the functions and responsibilities set forth in this Regulation, the Ministry interacts with central and local executive bodies, local self-governance bodies, as well as public organizations and other legal entities.
The ministry builds its activity on base of respects to human rights, rule of law and humanism principles.
The Ministry possesses an independent balance sheet, state property being respectively under its disposal by law, respective accounts in banks and state treasury, seal with State Emblem and its title engraved on it, respective stamps and letterheads.
The ministry is financed through the State Budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan and other sources which are not against existing legislation.
